How to Make Fully Loaded Chili
Making this fully loaded chili is simple and satisfying. Here’s how to do it:
Begin by chopping an onion and mincing a few cloves of garlic. In a large pot or Dutch oven, sauté the onion and garlic in a bit of oil over medium heat until they’re soft and translucent, filling your kitchen with their irresistible aroma.
Next, add diced sweet potatoes and the lean ground beef to the pot. Sprinkle in the cumin, coriander, chili seasoning, and smoked paprika, stirring to coat everything in the spices. Cook until the beef is browned and the sweet potatoes begin to soften.
Pour in a can of whole tomatoes and water, using your spoon to gently break them up. Then, stir in the corn, green beans, diced carrots, and white beans. For an extra boost of flavor, crumble in a beef bouillon cube and mix well.
Bring to a boil then reduce the heat to low and let the chili simmer gently, stirring occasionally, until the vegetables are tender, and the flavors have melded beautifully. This should take about 25–30 minutes. Taste and adjust the seasoning as needed—add more chili seasoning for heat, or a pinch of salt to brighten the flavors.
Serve this fully loaded chili piping hot, topped with your favorite garnishes like shredded cheese, sour cream, fresh cilantro, or sliced avocado. It’s a meal that’s hearty, nourishing, and packed with flavor—perfect for sharing with family and friends or enjoying as leftovers the next day.
